What happens in the Yugioh Duel Arena when your opponent gives up, surrenders, disconnects or otherwise quits? You win right! Well its not that simple... Smile

  • If your opponent quits during deck selection or rock paper scissors, you are given a notice that the opponent has quit and that you will be returned to the menu with all duel costs refunded. At least that's how its supposed to work. Sometimes the game doesn't detect the opponent leaving, and the game will sit there with no running clock. Your best bet is usually to wait this out for a bit until you get the above mentioned message. Occasionally you may get other errors, hopefully these are being addressed.

  • If your opponent quits during the match, you will see a message saying as much and then asking you if you want to continue. Unfortunately the game doesn't tell you what will happen if you choose to quit or continue, so here it is:

    >>> If you choose continue, you finish the game vs an ai opponent, and will receive the win or loss on your record and the same dp you would have received had the person played the game to finish.

    >>> If you choose quit, you are returned to the menu with your stamina refunded, and no effect on your record, as if the duel never happened. Minus nothing but your time.

Note that sometimes when an opponent quits, the game fails to detect it and you are left to wait for their game clock to count down (from 300) before receiving the message to continue or quit the game.

The choice is yours, although the first option, to continue is usually the best imo. GLHF and have a good one.
